Tailtab
Overview
Give this browser profile its own Tailscale node, without a system-wide VPN.
Tailtab gives one browser profile its own Tailscale node, without a system-wide VPN. Open your tailnet's machines from this browser profile while the rest of your computer stays off the tailnet. Use a work tailnet in one profile and a personal one in another, at the same time. REQUIRES A COMPANION APP Tailtab needs a small, free, open-source native host installed on your computer. The extension does nothing without it. Install it with one command on macOS, Linux or Windows: https://github.com/Stocist/Tailtab#install FEATURES • One node per browser profile, with its own key and state. • Split tunnel by default. Only tailnet traffic goes through Tailtab; everything else goes out normally. • Exit nodes per profile. If the exit node goes away, traffic is blocked instead of leaking out directly. • Several Tailscale accounts, switched from the popup without logging in again. • Subnet routes that your tailnet's machines advertise. • Your own coordination server, such as Headscale. • Machine list with search. Click a name to open it, click an address to copy it. PRIVACY Tailtab has no analytics and no server of its own. It does not read or store the contents of your traffic. Privacy policy: https://github.com/Stocist/Tailtab/blob/main/docs/privacy.md OPEN SOURCE BSD-3-Clause.
