Overview

Download webpage images as original, PNG, or JPG and organize them with source information.

Download webpage images as original files, PNG, or JPG and organize each image with its source in local projects. This free extension includes an advertisement inside the Side Panel. Find and download webpage images as original files, PNG, or JPG. Organize selected images in local projects and keep their page and source URLs together. Features include discovery of currently loaded img, srcset, picture, and common lazy images; URL-deduplicated results that accumulate while moving across pages; a live page picker that adds each clicked image immediately until Esc; removal of selected results from the current list; size, orientation, file-format, and search filters; select-all and individual multi-select; project-named download folders; local PNG/JPG conversion; projects, tags, and notes; source records; CSV, JSON, and ZIP export; download history; JSON backup and restore; Korean and English; and light and dark themes. ImageTrace requests HTTP and HTTPS webpage access at installation so its core scanner keeps working while the Side Panel stays open across navigation. It reads the active tab's DOM once only after Scan all images is pressed. Direct picking and context-menu commands process only the selected image. Newly loaded content requires another scan. ImageTrace does not use Chrome's browsing-history API. Image and project data stays local by default. ImageTrace does not bypass authentication, DRM, paid content, or access controls. Source records do not grant permission or a license. After the user agrees to the advertising and data disclosure during onboarding, a PlayaYield ad appears inside the ImageTrace Side Panel. It cannot be persistently disabled in Settings, but it can be closed for the current panel session. PlayaYield may process limited technical information under its policy to deliver and measure ads. Image, page URL, project, search, and download data is not provided to the ad provider.
