ImageLens helps you inspect images on web pages before saving them. Turn ImageLens on for the current page, hover over an image, and see useful technical information such as its displayed dimensions, original resolution, aspect ratio, file size, and source. When a higher-resolution version is available, ImageLens can identify it for you. Your images are not uploaded to ImageLens servers. ### How it works 1. Open a normal web page. 2. Click the ImageLens toolbar icon. 3. Turn ImageLens on. 4. Hover over an image to inspect it. 5. Choose the original or prepare a resized or converted copy. 6. Click Download. ImageLens starts off on each page and only operates after you explicitly enable it. When you navigate to another page, you can enable it again. ### Privacy • No account required • No analytics or browsing tracking • No remote code • No image uploads • Local image processing ImageLens uses only the permissions needed for its functionality. Temporary page access is provided when you activate the extension, while your preferences are stored locally and downloads are handled through Chrome's download system.
