)Overview
Find images and visual duplicates in img tags and CSS backgrounds, even while the popup is closed.
Like find text in page but for images. Image Finder in Page helps you locate a specific image and discover visual duplicates across an entire web page. Upload a reference image and the extension scans standard IMG elements, CSS background images, lazy-loaded content, infinite-scrolling pages, and virtualized lists. It combines perceptual image comparison with OpenCV feature matching to identify resized, compressed, cropped, or partially modified versions of the original image. The duplicate finder collects all available images and groups identical or visually similar occurrences into expandable result sets. Each result includes a preview, similarity information, technical details, and a button that takes you directly to the corresponding element on the page. Searches continue in the background when the extension popup is closed and can be cancelled at any time. After scanning, the original page position is automatically restored. Image analysis runs locally in your browser. Images, visited page URLs, and search results are not uploaded to an external image-matching service. All features are available for free, with an optional Ko-fi link for supporting continued development.
