Image Extractor

Open a viewer tab and extract image URLs from the active tab.

Image Extractor is a Chrome extension that brings images from the page you are viewing into a separate viewer tab. Browse thumbnails, filter the list, and open an image for a closer look. Features • Extract image URLs from image elements and CSS background images • Browse thumbnails with duplicate URLs removed • See image dimensions and file extensions identified from URLs • Filter by minimum width and height, or hide SVG and GIF images • Fit images to the screen or view large images at their original size • Drag to pan in original-size view and use the arrow keys to move between images • Switch between English and Japanese How to use 1. Open the web page whose images you want to inspect. 2. Click the extension icon to open the image list in a new tab. 3. Adjust the filters as needed, then click an image to open the larger view. The default minimum width and height are both 400 pixels. To include smaller images, set both values to 0 and click Apply. For large images, click the image in the larger view to switch to its original size. Use the left and right arrow keys to move between images, and press Escape to return to the list. Scope and limitations Extraction uses the images present in the page when you click the icon. For images loaded later by scrolling, let the page load them and click the icon again. Each list supports up to 1,500 image URLs. Some images may not display because of restrictions imposed by their host. Extraction is unavailable on Chrome internal pages and other restricted pages. SVG and GIF filters use the file extension in the URL. Bulk image downloading is not included. Canvas drawings, images inside Shadow DOM, and image URLs that appear only in network traffic without being exposed through image elements or CSS background images are outside the scope of extraction. Data and pricing Image URLs and list management data are stored temporarily in the browser's session storage for the extension. The extension performs deletion when you close the last viewer tab for that list. If temporary data remains because deletion fails, processing is interrupted, or a similar issue occurs, it is cleared when the browser exits and restarts. Displaying images sends requests to their image hosts. The extension has no feature that sends image URLs or usage analytics to the developer's server.
