Overview
Move cookies, storage data, and sign-in state for the same site to another device
Portal is a Chrome extension for cross-device website session migration. It helps you transfer cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, and sign-in state for the same website, ideal for new computer setup, account handover, QA testing, and support troubleshooting. Key features: One-click transfer code generation from the current site Automatic clipboard detection on the target device Optional encryption password and expiration time for safer transfers Deep data migration support, including IndexedDB Guided import flow with automatic target page opening How to use Portal: On the source device, open the website and sign in. Click the extension icon, set expiration and optional encryption password. Click “Generate Transfer Code” to copy the code. On the target device, install Portal and open the same website. Portal detects the code from clipboard and starts import automatically. If not, use “Import Transfer Code” and paste manually. Wait for completion, then refresh if needed to load the migrated session. Tips and troubleshooting: Source and target must be the same site/domain. If you set a custom password, use the same password during import. Expired transfer codes must be generated again. Use on regular web pages, browser internal pages are not supported. If you are searching for a cookie transfer extension, browser session migration tool, or website data migration for Chrome, Portal provides a fast and practical workflow.
