Overview
Turn any page or selected text into a structured AI video or image brief, then generate it in your ClipWave workspace.
Writing a good prompt for an AI video or image is mostly research: what is this product, who is it for, what does it cost, what should the shot actually show. This extension does that part on the page you are already looking at. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open a product page, a landing page or an article. Click the ClipWave icon, or select some text and right-click it. 2. The extension reads the page — JSON-LD, microdata, Open Graph and Twitter tags, headings, and a price if the page publishes one — and fills in a brief: subject, brand, key points, price, main image. 3. You edit any of it. Pick a creative angle (showcase, UGC testimonial, problem-to-solution, feature demo, lifestyle, scroll-stopper — or, for stills, studio, lifestyle, social ad, thumbnail, web hero), an aspect ratio (9:16, 1:1, 16:9) and a length (5, 10 or 15 seconds). 4. The prompt is written in front of you, updating as you type, and you can rewrite it by hand. Copy it, or send it on. 5. "Generate on ClipWave" opens your ClipWave workspace in a new tab with the brief pre-filled. You'll be redirected to your ClipWave workspace to run the generation. WHAT YOU GET WITHOUT LEAVING THE BROWSER - A structured brief from any page, instead of retyping product copy. - Real extraction: structured data first, meta tags second, page text last — each field labelled with where it came from. - A prompt you can read and edit before anything is generated. - Your last twelve briefs, saved locally, ready to restore. - Copy the prompt to the clipboard and use it wherever you like. PRIVACY No host permissions. The extension reads a page only when you click it or use its right-click menu, using Chrome's per-click activeTab grant. Briefs are kept in local extension storage on your own machine — no account, no analytics, no tracking. The popup loads its preview from the image URL supplied by the page, which may use a third-party image host. Generate sends the approved prompt, generation settings, a short title from the brand or subject, and extension attribution tags to ClipWave. A ClipWave account is needed to run a generation on clipwave.io. Building, editing, copying and saving briefs works without one.
