Overview

Save any page, text or screenshot as a task in seconds, then let GetItDone's AI to-do list plan your day around it.

Turn anything you read into a task in seconds. Found an article to read, a bug to fix, a receipt to file? GetItDone's browser extension drops it straight into your GetItDone to-do list, with the source link attached, so you never retype the web into a task list again. Then GetItDone's AI to-do list can plan your day around it. What you can do • Save this page. Click the toolbar icon (or press Alt+Shift+G). The title is pre-filled and the URL goes into the task notes. Pick a project and a due date, then press Add task. • Save a selection. Highlight text on any page, right-click and choose "Add selection to GetItDone". The selection becomes the task and the rest of it is kept in the description. • Attach a screenshot. One button captures the visible part of the page and attaches it to the task: useful for bugs, designs and receipts. • Let your AI use it. The tasks you save live in the same GetItDone workspace that Claude, ChatGPT and your editor can read and update through GetItDone's Model Context Protocol server and public API. How it works 1. Sign in once. It opens app.nowgetitdone.com in a browser window; your password never touches the extension, and you can revoke the connection any time from Profile → Connected Apps. The free plan works. 2. On any page, click the icon, press Alt+Shift+G, or right-click a selection. 3. Check the task, optionally attach a screenshot, press Add task. Nothing is sent until you press Add task. The extension does not read the pages you browse, does not run in the background on any site, and collects no analytics of any kind. You need a GetItDone account. The extension itself does not run AI: the planning and the MCP tools are part of GetItDone, which the extension saves your tasks into.
