Octane Dashboard

A Chrome extension that replaces the default new tab dashboard with a customized, feature-rich interface.

Octane turns your new tab into a personal dashboard for everyday browsing and focused work. Keep track of tasks, check the weather, search the web, and open your favorite sites from one place. Make the dashboard yours with custom backgrounds and themes. Add shortcuts, write notes, and browse or manage your browser bookmarks without leaving the new tab. You can also find commonly used Google services together in one place. When it is time to concentrate, use Focus Mode to plan tasks, set custom focus and break timers, view your recent activity, and play music from a SoundCloud playlist. The Website Blocker lets you choose which sites to block and turn individual entries on or off. Octane is free to use, and no account is required. Version 1.7 - Added Focus Mode with custom timers, breaks, activity history, music, and themes. - Added the Website Blocker and Google Services. - Improved shortcuts, notes, bookmarks, settings, and the search bar. - Added guided tours for new and updated features. - Fixed bugs and improved performance.
