Back up Microsoft Teams chats and export them to PDF, HTML or TXT. Teams Chat Backup saves your Microsoft Teams chat history (personal and work accounts, chats and channels) to a private viewer inside your browser. From there you can search it, read it offline, and export any conversation as a PDF, an HTML page or a plain text file. Nothing is uploaded: your messages never leave your computer. Use it to save a Teams chat before you lose access, keep a copy of conversations when you change jobs, keep records for projects or audits, or simply export a Teams chat to PDF to share or print. WHAT IT DOES • Backs up a whole Teams chat automatically: it scrolls and loads the history for you, including months or years of messages (Long Chat Mode). • Works with one-to-one chats, group chats, meeting chats and channel conversations. • Saves messages with author, date and time, plus the images in the conversation. • Viewer that looks like Teams: search messages, jump to a date, star, edit or hide messages. • Export to PDF, HTML or TXT whenever you need a copy. • Works with Teams in any language. • Progress is saved as it goes, so an interrupted backup can be continued. FREE AND PRO Free includes one chat backup per browser profile. Deleting the saved backup does not free the allowance for a different chat. Completed backups cannot be refreshed with new messages on Free, and free exports include branding. Pro is a one-time purchase (no subscription). It unlocks additional chats, backup updates with new messages, multiple-chat selection, file attachments, bulk import/export, and exports without free-version branding. For existing Free users, only the most recent saved backup is accessible; other backups remain stored locally and require Pro to open. HOW TO BACK UP A TEAMS CHAT 1. Open Microsoft Teams in Chrome (teams.microsoft.com or teams.live.com) and sign in. 2. Click the Teams Chat Backup icon in the toolbar. 3. Click "Backup Chats & Channels", choose the conversation and click "Start Backup". Keep the Teams tab open while messages load. 4. Click "View Backed Files", open the chat and use Download to export PDF, HTML or TXT. PRIVACY AND SECURITY Your chat messages, screenshots and downloaded files stay in this browser or your downloads. We do not upload your backups to Bullfighter Studio or RevenueCat. Saved content can be viewed offline. Capturing a backup can download original images and files from Teams and their source services. Teams access starts when you click the extension. There is no always-on access to your Teams pages and no access to your browsing history. Pro verification sends your License ID to RevenueCat after you open checkout or choose Restore Purchase. After a successful verification, Pro stays unlocked offline on that browser profile with no recurring license checks. A new device or reinstall needs a one-time Restore Purchase. Payment details are entered on the hosted checkout. Download access is requested only when you choose to download. Chrome sync can store your License ID and selected preferences. Chat names, team names, messages, images, attachments, backup files, and the Free-plan allowance stay local. The alarms permission confirms a pending checkout for up to 30 minutes and stops after confirmation or expiry; it does not trigger Teams backups. Does it work with work or school accounts? Yes, it works with Teams on the web for work, school and personal accounts, including organisations that use Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps. Can I back up several chats at once? Pro lets you select multiple chats for one backup run. The Free plan includes one chat backup. How long can a chat be? There is no message limit.
