Melo, a private AI chat on your own computer, and a nudge to use a temporary chat when you ask AI something personal.

Ask AI anything personal, in a safe place. We ask AI about our lives: a worry about our health, a breakup, money trouble. Those chats are usually saved in your account, and often used for training. Kamelo notices when a question gets personal. Melo, Kamelo's private chat, listens on your own computer. KAMELO NOTICES • Type something personal in ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude, about your health, how you feel, love, money or a legal matter, and Kamelo shows a short notice. • Ask Melo instead. Or move your message to the site's temporary chat in one click: it stays out of your history and isn't used for training. • Everyday questions, like "what are the symptoms of flu?", don't get a notice. MELO LISTENS • Melo is a private chat in Chrome's side panel. Chrome's built-in AI answers on your own computer, so your question doesn't leave your device. • Nothing is saved: your chat is gone when you close it. • Melo can draw charts and formulas, and save an answer as PDF or Word. It's smaller than ChatGPT. • A temporary chat still goes to the AI company, and your AI account still knows who you are. • Kamelo spots personal topics with word lists in 82 languages, and can miss one.
