Overview

Checks the page you're on for WCAG accessibility issues and outlines each one right on the page.

AccessiSight checks the page you're on for accessibility problems and outlines each one right on the page, numbered to match the list in the extension. It tests against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2, 2.1 and 2.0). The scan runs on AccessiSight's servers in a real browser, so it checks the page as a visitor's browser draws it, including colour contrast, keyboard focus, labels, headings, images, forms and content that loads after the page opens. WHAT YOU GET • A score from 0 to 100 and the number of issues by severity. • Each issue outlined and numbered on the page. "Show on page" scrolls straight to the element. • A full report on accessisight.com: where each problem is, which WCAG success criterion it fails and how to fix it, with example code. • Results that stay put. Start a scan, go back to the page, and the result is there when you open the extension again. FREE TO SCAN Every scan is free and shows the score, the totals and a few sample issues. Unlocking a page's full report uses one credit on accessisight.com. Pro plans include full reports. BUILT TO BE ACCESSIBLE ITSELF The extension works with a keyboard and screen readers, follows your light or dark setting and supports Windows high-contrast mode. Keyboard shortcut: Alt+Shift+K. Available in 12 languages, including Arabic (right to left). PRIVACY When you click "Scan this page", the extension sends the address of that tab to accessisight.com. Nothing else: not the page's content, not your browsing history, not what you type. It runs only on the tab you choose and only when you click. It has no analytics or tracking and loads no remote code. If an address looks like it contains a sign-in token or a private link, the extension asks before sending it. Privacy policy: https://accessisight.com/privacy WHAT AN AUTOMATED CHECK CAN'T DO No automated tool can tell you a page is fully accessible. Some WCAG requirements need a person to judge, for example whether alt text really describes the image. Use AccessiSight to find and fix what can be found automatically, then test with a keyboard and a screen reader. The full report includes a checklist for the manual checks. LIMITS The scanner loads the page from the public internet, so it can't reach localhost, intranet sites or pages that need you to sign in. Chrome doesn't allow extensions on its own settings pages or on the Chrome Web Store. Questions or feedback: https://accessisight.com/contact
