Kitty Lock — Social Media Blocker

Blocks social media during the hours you choose. To get through anyway, you have to kill a tiny pixel cat.

Kitty Lock is a social media blocker with a conscience. Pick your time slots, for example every evening from 21:00 to 07:00. During those hours, the major social networks are blocked, along with any website you add yourself: the whole domain, every single page. Want to scroll anyway? A retro handheld-console style scene appears, and your cat stands in your way. It's the one you named and petted on day one, and it levels up every day it survives. To get through, you have to KILL it: three confirmations, teary eyes, then you hold A for three seconds while its HP drains. It might try to negotiate. It might read you its will. Then it joins your graveyard. Most people choose RUN. That's the whole point. 🐱 What you get: • A pixel art cat with 7 expressions, chiptune sounds and retro RPG-style dialogs • Random, ridiculous last words, so it never gets old • Blocking happens before the page loads, including tabs that are already open • Settings lock while blocking is on: you can only make it stricter • A 10-second countdown when you activate it, and blocking comes back on its own after your pause • A graveyard that remembers every cat you sacrificed • English and French • 100% local: no account, no tracking, your settings stay on your device Free vs Pro: • Free: blocking, the cat, the graveyard, 1 time slot and up to 3 websites of your own • Kitty Lock Pro, €4.99 once (no subscription): unlimited time slots with one-click templates (Evening, Work, Sleep), unlimited custom websites, and 4 new coats for your cat Kitty Lock adds friction, not a prison: it can't stop you from disabling the extension. But can you look your cat in the eyes and do it? From the same creator: EasyRec (screen and webcam recorder with a built-in studio) · TabZero (save your tabs as workflows and reopen them in one click)
