HanDa Korean — word lookup & speaking practice

Select Korean on any page to see the meaning, hear it and save it. Practice saying your words in the HanDa app.

Learn Korean from the web you already read. Select any Korean word or phrase on a web page and HanDa shows a card right there: • the dictionary form — even for conjugated words like 먹었어요 → 먹다 (past · polite) • romanization and pronunciation you can listen to • the meaning in your language (English, French, German, Japanese, Spanish, Russian or Chinese) • common conjugations Save words with one click. Your saved words go to the Words tab in the HanDa app, where you practise saying them out loud with an AI tutor that checks your pronunciation. Also works the other way: select a word in your own language (up to three words) to see how to say it in Korean. Optionally, turn on "Show a few words on pages in Korean" to see a few common words on English pages swapped into Korean. Free to use. A HanDa account (Google, Apple or email) keeps your words in sync with the app. Speaking practice in the app is part of a HanDa subscription. Dictionary data includes the Korean Basic Dictionary by the National Institute of Korean Language (CC BY-SA 2.0 KR)
