Minimal REST client for localhost development. Zero external communication, localhost-only permissions. Local API Client is a minimal REST client that lives in Chrome's side panel, built for one job: talking to your own local development server. Build a request, send it, read the response. Nothing else. WHAT IT DOES - Compose GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, DELETE, HEAD and OPTIONS requests with custom headers and a body - Write the body as key-value fields (sent as JSON, with value types inferred) or as raw text - Send to localhost or 127.0.0.1 on any port - Read the response with its status, time, size, headers, a JSON tree view, and a snapshot of exactly what was sent - Keep a history of your last 30 requests, responses included (bodies over 30 KB are trimmed and marked as truncated) - Save up to 30 requests under a name and a group, and export or import them as JSON - Copy any request as a curl command - Responses are read up to 1 MB to keep the panel fast; the size shown is always the real one PRIVACY - No account, no sign-in, no server - Zero external communication: no analytics, no cloud sync, no external fonts. Your data never leaves your machine - Host permissions are limited to localhost and 127.0.0.1 — the extension has no privileged access to any other site - The code makes no requests anywhere else, and it's open source, so you can verify that yourself - Everything lives in chrome.storage.local on your device; chrome.storage.sync is deliberately not used, so nothing is replicated to Google's servers OPEN SOURCE Source code and issues: https://github.com/kojirock5260/local-api-client
