GlowTour Studio
Overview
Create, customize and launch interactive tutorials on your websites.
Build interactive product tours on websites, right from Chrome's side panel. No code or account required. GlowTour Studio lets you select elements on a page, write an explanation for each one, and play the result as a guided tutorial with a spotlight, a popover and next/previous controls. Use it to document an internal tool, prepare a demo or show a colleague where things are. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open a web page and click the GlowTour Studio icon. 2. Create a tutorial, add a step and select an element on the page. 3. Write your content in Markdown: bold, lists, links and code blocks. 4. Test the tutorial directly on the page. FEATURES • Visual element picker • Rich Markdown content • Drag and drop to reorder steps • Customizable colors, width, corners, text size, overlay and spotlight • Directional pointers and optional step counter • Auto-start on the start page, once or on every visit • Searchable library with per-site filtering • Import and export tutorials as JSON • Light and dark mode • English and French interface LOCAL STORAGE Tutorials are stored locally in your browser. No account or cloud synchronization is required. Website access is granted one site at a time. Export a JSON backup before uninstalling. External images and links contact their respective websites when loaded or opened. Share exported JSON files with other GlowTour Studio users so they can import and play your tutorials. Chrome internal pages, the Chrome Web Store and PDF documents are not supported. Built on GlowTour.js.
