Overview

Measure what made it to the page: flag any paragraph of your document that's altered, missing, duplicated, or out of order.

Measure what made it to the page. DocMatch checks that every paragraph of your document actually appears on a live web page — and flags anything that was altered, dropped, duplicated, or moved out of order along the way. It's for anyone who hands off copy and needs to confirm the published page matches what was written: writers, editors, content and SEO teams, and developers checking a site migration. Open a document or paste your text, then check it against the page you have open in the tab. Each paragraph gets one of five clear verdicts: - Found — the paragraph is on the page, intact. - Altered — it's there but changed; the added words are struck through in red, and a pin marks any words that were dropped. - Missing — it never made it onto the page. - Duplicated — it appears on the page more than once. - Out of order — it's on the page, but in a different sequence than your document, with a pin showing where it belongs. Click any result to jump straight to it on the page, with a badge showing where it landed — a heading, paragraph, list item, or table cell. Next to the results you also get a document-versus-page word count, the page's metadata (title, description, canonical link, and whether it's indexable), and an outline of the page's headings and links. You can narrow a check to a section of your document, draw a box to check only part of a page, and strip out boilerplate you don't want compared. It reads common document formats — Word, Markdown, HTML, plain text, and more — directly in your browser, or you can paste text. Everything is read and compared on your own device: no uploads, no account, no servers, and no tracking. Your document and the page text never leave your browser. Free, with no watermark and no sign-in.
