Turn it on, hover your mouse over any Korean word on any web page, and an instant pop-up shows you the English meaning, the hanja, the part of speech, and — for verbs and adjectives — exactly how the word was conjugated back to its dictionary form. No copying and pasting into a translator. No looking up how 갔었어요 relates to 가다. Just point and read. What it does • Instant hover lookups — highlights the word under your cursor and shows its meaning in a clean pop-up. • Understands conjugation — automatically works backward from inflected forms to the dictionary word (먹었어요 → 먹다), including irregular verbs, honorifics, tenses, connectives, and quotatives. It shows you the breakdown, so you learn the grammar, not just the meaning. • Handles particles and compounds — hover any syllable of a word, not just the first, and it resolves the whole word and strips the attached particle. • Hanja, part of speech, and multiple senses — homographs are separated by their Chinese characters (시 → 時 time / 市 city / 詩 poem), each with its own gloss. • Smart ranking — the most likely meaning is shown first, tuned with a Korean news word-frequency corpus so common words win. • Toggle instantly — click the toolbar icon or press Alt+K to turn it on and off. Private and offline by design The entire dictionary — over 129,000 entries — is bundled inside the extension. Every lookup happens on your device. Nothing you hover, read, or browse is ever sent anywhere. There are no accounts, no tracking, and no network requests. It works on a plane. Dictionary data Built from open, high-quality sources: the National Institute of Korean Language's KRDict (한국어기초사전), Wiktionary, kengdic, and Unihan, with frequency data from the Leipzig Corpora Collection. Dictionary data is distributed under CC BY-SA.
