SnapBox
Overview
Bulk link opener for power users. Right-click drag to open multiple links, shift-click for batch checkboxes.
SnapBox speeds up repetitive actions on websites. Open multiple links, click buttons, or select checkboxes – simply by dragging with the right mouse button. For pages with vertical checkbox lists (e.g., webmail), SnapBox provides an additional checkbox stripe: Select one checkbox, hold Shift, and move the mouse vertically to mark more checkboxes in the same column. --- RIGHT-CLICK DRAG GRID • Open multiple links in new tabs at once • Quickly select checkboxes, buttons, or radio buttons • Open high-resolution image URLs directly from thumbnails (e.g., Amazon, Geizhals) • Optional: Automatically copy links to the clipboard while dragging (Shift/Ctrl/Alt) • Domain-based link throttling to prevent IP bans: links are opened in configurable groups per domain with randomized pauses between them • Throttle overlay with live countdown, progress indicator, and a skip button to open remaining tabs immediately • Exception list for trusted domains (regex patterns) that bypass throttling entirely • Tabs always open in the originating browser window, even when switching focus to another window during throttled sessions • Overlay links (e.g., Reddit's full-post card links) are automatically detected and skipped, so only visible headlines and buttons are captured • Adjustable delay for opening tabs and clicking buttons • Only elements of the same type are selected as the element where the drag started (prevents mixed selections) • Also works with Shadow DOM content • Optional modifier key (Shift/Ctrl/Alt) to activate drag selection --- CHECKBOX STRIPE • Optimized for Gmail, Proton Mail, Fastmail, and Outlook.com • Vertical dragging selects entire checkbox columns • Activation key freely selectable (Shift/Ctrl/Alt) • Two modes: "Toggle" or "Activate only" • Adjustable stripe width • Optional counter displays how many checkboxes are selected --- THEME DETECTION (LIGHT / DARK) • Automatically adapts to light or dark mode • Separate color and contrast settings for both modes • Detects Dark Reader automatically • Preconfigured profiles for Geizhals, GitHub, and Computerbase • Custom site patterns can be created and managed --- CONFIGURATION • Live preview of all changes with sticky test area • Separate testing areas for grid and stripe • Organized options with labeled sub-sections and info tooltips • Adjustable colors and opacity levels • Fine-tuned delay controls for tabs and clicks • Configurable throttle parameters: max tabs per domain, pause range • Choose whether new tabs receive focus --- PRIVACY • No data collection or tracking • Runs fully locally in the browser • No communication with external servers • Automatically disabled on more than 40 banking websites --- USE CASES Research & Reading • Open search results and articles in batches Online Shopping • Compare products and reviews in parallel • Bulk-open product pages without triggering anti-bot protection Email Management • Select and process emails in bulk Admin / CMS Interfaces • Fill out forms faster • Execute batch operations more efficiently --- TECHNICAL DETAILS • Manifest V3 • Shadow DOM support • Stable selection with scroll anchoring • Responsive UI without page reload • Source window pinning via sender.tab.windowId • Overlay link detection (position:absolute + inset:0) • Full i18n via _locales with 233 translation keys --- GETTING STARTED Works immediately after installation. Advanced configuration available in the options page with live preview. --- LANGUAGES English and German.
