Proxy Switcher changes Chrome's proxy in one click: direct, system, a fixed server, or automatic rules by domain. Save HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS4, and SOCKS5 profiles, then send only the sites you choose through a proxy. Everything else can stay on a direct connection. The PAC script is built on your device. KEY FEATURES • Four modes — Direct, System, Fixed, and Auto. Switch them from the popup. • Proxy profiles — name, protocol, host, port, and a bypass list. Paste a connection string such as socks5://127.0.0.1:1080. • Auto-switch rules — match a domain, a wildcard, or a keyword, then send that host through a profile. • This site, one click — route the open site through the active profile or take it back off the list. • Latency test — ping the active proxy from the popup before you leave it on. • SwitchyOmega import — bring in an existing backup instead of retyping every rule. • Keyboard shortcut — Ctrl+Shift+P on Windows and Linux, Command+Shift+P on Mac, cycles Direct, Auto, and Fixed. HOW IT WORKS 1. Add a proxy profile with its host and port. 2. Choose Fixed to send all traffic through it, or Auto to use rules. 3. Add the domains that should use that proxy. Other sites stay direct. 4. Use Test to check that the proxy answers. Proxy addresses and rules stay in chrome.storage.local on your device. Proxy Switcher does not store proxy passwords, does not run a proxy server, and does not send page content to the developer.
