iDRAC JNLP Fixer
Overview
Automatically rename legacy iDRAC JNLP downloads to a usable filename.
Old Dell PowerEdge systems can download a Java console file named viewer.jnlp(...) instead of viewer.jnlp. iDRAC JNLP Fixer corrects that filename during the download so your JNLP association can recognize it normally. What it does - Detects the narrow legacy filename pattern used by older iDRAC virtual consoles. - Renames matching files to viewer.jnlp or jviewer.jnlp. - Leaves ordinary downloads unchanged. - Supports automatic detection or an allowlist of internal hosts. - Never overwrites an existing file; Chrome adds a number when needed. License Install and try the extension before buying. A lifetime license is €2.99 with no subscription and no account required in the extension. Purchase and license delivery are handled through the official website. Privacy and security Runs entirely in the browser with no analytics, backend, browsing history, remote code or download data collection. It requests only the downloads and storage permissions required for its single purpose. It does not launch Java, change certificates, weaken TLS or modify Java security settings. This extension fixes the filename only. It does not provide a remote console, install Java or guarantee that a legacy JNLP application will run with your Java or OpenWebStart installation. iDRAC JNLP Fixer is an independent community tool and is not affiliated with Dell Technologies.
