Email Icons Within Gmail

Hello. Google just changed the icons in the email itself. Basically, the icons for the Inbox, Starred, Sent, Spam, Trash etc. I took snippets. I was wondering if you could add an optional addon code to this one, where it reverts the changes. If so, let me know, and I can send the snippets I took.

How did this install ITSELF on my Chrome???

I am mystified by how this extension ended up installing itself on my Chrome. Care to explain? I was looking at my other extensions, trying to see if you are the developer of one of them and you just "pushed" this new extension on to me, somehow... but this makes no sense... Please explain.

Icons did not revert

Icons did not revert, even after rebooting. It has been less than 24 hours. Should I just wait?

Android application?

They seemed to have been slow to change, but the icons have changed over now.

icons did not revert

Just installed, restarted Chrome to no icon change, and then restarted my computer, no change. OS 10.15.6 and updated Chrome Version 86.0.4240.183 (Official Build) (x86_64)
