Convert WebP to PNG or JPG, right in Chrome. ImagePort converts a selected web image or local file into a real JPG or PNG. Right-click a picture, choose a conversion command, preview the result and save your copy. • Convert still WebP, AVIF, JPG and PNG images. • Keep transparency with PNG, or choose a white or black background for JPG. • Preserve decoded image dimensions within supported limits. • Rename your copy before saving. The correct file extension is added automatically. • Choose, drag and drop, or paste a local image. Local-file conversion works offline. • No account, ads, analytics or conversion-server uploads. HOW TO USE Right-click an image on a web page and choose ImagePort, then JPG or PNG. Review the preview and click Save. You can also open ImagePort from the extension toolbar and choose a file from your device. PRIVACY AND SITE ACCESS Conversion runs locally in Chrome. Web images must still be fetched from their original hosts. If necessary, ImagePort asks for access to that specific image host; you can remove granted access in Privacy & help. No scripts are injected into web pages. LIMITS One still image at a time. Files must be smaller than 25 MB, at most 32 megapixels and no more than 16,384 pixels per side. GIF, animated images, SVG and HEIC are not supported. Protected or login-only images may need to be saved manually first. JPG uses lossy compression. Conversion re-encodes pixels, does not copy EXIF metadata and may change color appearance. Output may be larger than the original. Support: developer@byteera-labs.com
