IDM Extension Checker – Real vs Fake

Check if your IDM extension is the real one or a fake, and find the official one. Unofficial tool.

Fake "IDM" and "Internet Download Manager" extensions are everywhere, and some show ads or change your search engine. IDM Extension Checker tells you in one click whether the IDM extension in your browser is the genuine IDM Integration Module. What it does - Checks your installed extensions against the official IDM extension ID - Flags lookalikes that use the IDM name but are not the official extension - Lets you remove a fake with one click (your browser asks you to confirm) - Opens the exact official extension page, which does not appear in store search - Shows a step-by-step install guide that ticks off as you go - Optional alert if a fake appears later Privacy Everything runs on your device. Nothing is sent anywhere. The extension only reads the names and IDs of your installed extensions. This is an unofficial tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or produced by Internet Download Manager or Tonec Inc. "IDM" and "Internet Download Manager" are used only to describe what the tool checks.
