BuyerSpotter: Facebook Group Monitor, Reddit & Twitter Keyword Alerts

Overview
Lead alerts when people in Facebook groups, Reddit, LinkedIn, Twitter or Nextdoor ask for what you sell. Read-only, never posts.
BuyerSpotter is a Chrome extension for social media lead generation. It monitors the Facebook groups you choose, plus Reddit, LinkedIn, X (Twitter) and Nextdoor, for posts where someone is asking to buy what you offer. You get an alert while the request is still fresh, and you decide whether to reply. Most customers never search for you. They ask their community instead: "Can anyone recommend a plumber?", "Looking for a bookkeeper for my shop", "Which CRM do you use for a small agency?" Those posts sink out of the feed within hours. It catches them, so you can answer first instead of scrolling all day. WHO IT'S FOR Local service businesses, freelancers, consultants, agencies and B2B or SaaS teams who win customers through recommendations and word of mouth. HOW IT WORKS 1. Add the phrases a customer would write, such as "need a plumber" or "recommend an accountant". 2. Choose where to look: communities you belong to, whole-network searches, and a radius around your area. 3. BuyerSpotter checks your sources in the background, as often as every 15 minutes, and grades every match by buyer intent. 4. Get an alert on your desktop, in Telegram or by webhook. Open the original post and reply in your own words. WHAT YOU GET • Monitoring for up to 25 groups, public or private, with no admin rights needed • Subreddit search across all communities or only the ones you pick, with no account needed • Twitter keyword alerts and LinkedIn post monitoring from your own search phrases • Nextdoor leads within the distance you set • Buyer-intent grading that puts real requests first and pushes promotions and job ads down • Exclusion words that filter out noise you never want to see • A first scan that looks back 72 hours, so results can arrive on day one • One inbox for every network, with saved, contacted and won statuses • CSV export of everything you found HOW IT DIFFERS FROM SOCIAL LISTENING TOOLS Social listening tools track mentions of your brand. BuyerSpotter looks for buying intent: people describing a need, asking for a recommendation or comparing providers before they have chosen anyone. It works inside the communities you already belong to, including private groups that a web search cannot see. SAFE AND PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Read-only: it never posts, comments, likes or sends messages on your behalf • It runs in your own Chrome through the accounts you're already signed into, and never asks for your passwords • It reads at a measured pace and slows down automatically when a network asks it to • Your inbox stays in your browser, and results you don't save are cleared after 30 days FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS How do I monitor Facebook groups for keywords without checking them all day? Add your phrases, pick the communities you're a member of, and it checks them in the background. Matching posts land in one inbox. Can I find people on Reddit asking for my service? Yes. Search every subreddit or only the ones you choose. No sign-in is needed for that network. Does it work as a Twitter keyword alert tool? Yes. Your phrases run as searches through the X account you're signed into, and new matching posts appear in your inbox. What does "buyer intent" mean here? A post where someone wants to hire, buy or get a recommendation. "Recommend a roofer near me" is a buyer. "Roofing tips for beginners" is not. It ranks the first kind above the second. Is it a scraper? Does it collect member lists or contact details? No. It never exports members or contact data. It shows you posts that ask for what you sell, from communities you can already see. Do I need admin rights? No. Membership is enough, and private groups work as long as you are a member. Will my account get blocked? It only reads, never posts, paces itself and backs off when a network asks it to slow down. No tool can promise that a platform will never limit an account, so we keep the load deliberately low. How often does it check? As often as every 15 minutes for a small setup. Larger setups run every 30 or 45 minutes to keep your accounts safe. Where do notifications go? To desktop notifications, a Telegram bot or any webhook URL you choose. Does it work in my language? Yes. Add phrases in the language your community writes in. Does it run when my computer is off? No. It checks while Chrome is open, even minimised, and picks up where it left off when you're back. Start with a free trial. No credit card needed to try it.
