Overview

Capture QA evidence from any tested website and submit it to GoTask issues.

Idaara QA Reporter is a QA evidence-capture extension built for teams that test web applications and manage issues in Idaara . It gives testers a focused Chrome side panel for creating structured bug reports without leaving the system they are testing. Testers can select the related project, optionally choose a task or feature, capture screenshots, annotate important areas, record short test sessions, and prepare clear issue details for the development team. The extension also supports Test Mode, which helps collect useful technical evidence during a testing session, including page context, browser metadata, console activity, network/API events, errors, screenshots, and optional screen recording. This evidence is kept separate from the tester-written report so issues remain clean for product review while still giving developers the details they need for debugging. Key capabilities: - Create structured QA reports for GoTask issues. - Select project and optional task context before reporting. - Capture and attach multiple compressed screenshots. - Annotate screenshots with crop and marker tools. - Record optional short screen sessions. - Collect browser, console, network, API, and error evidence during Test Mode. - Keep actual behavior and steps to reproduce written clearly by the QA tester. - Separate developer evidence from the main issue description for cleaner review. Idaara QA Reporter is designed for authorized QA testers, product teams, and developers who need faster, clearer, and more reliable bug reporting across internal or external web systems.
