Icon-only Bookmarks Bar

Show native bookmarks bar items as favicons only, with title restore support.

Make your browser's native bookmarks bar more compact by showing selected bookmarks as icon-only items. Icon-only Bookmarks Bar keeps the native bookmarks bar intact. Bookmarks still open, move, and work with the browser's normal folder and context-menu behavior. Use the extension popup to switch individual direct bookmarks to icon-only mode, apply the mode to all direct bookmarks, or restore saved names. Features: - Show selected native bookmarks as favicon-only items. - Apply icon-only mode to direct bookmarks on the bookmarks bar. - Restore one saved bookmark name or restore all saved names. - Set a replacement name for a blank bookmark whose old backup was lost after reinstalling. - Keep folder labels visible. - Restore a saved name automatically when a bookmark is moved out of the bookmarks bar. - Work locally with no website access, content scripts, analytics, or remote code. Important: icon-only mode clears the actual bookmark name. The name is therefore also blank in the browser's bookmark manager, bookmark menus, and browser sync until it is restored. The extension keeps a local backup of the original name so you can restore it. Restore all before uninstalling the extension. If a bookmark is still blank after reinstalling but has no backup, use Set name to assign a new name; the old name cannot be recovered automatically.
