Quiet Tube — Recommendation Controls

Individually hide YouTube end screens, overlays, sidebar suggestions, home recommendations and Shorts shelves.

Choose which YouTube recommendations you see with Quiet Tube. Independently hide cards over the final seconds of a video, the recommendations shown after it ends, and recommendation sections across the page. Reload any open YouTube tabs after installation. 2. Open Quiet Tube from the Chrome toolbar. 3. Turn on the switches for the sections you want to hide. A switch that is on means that section is hidden. Your choices are saved on this device and applied to open YouTube tabs. Turn off the main switch to restore every section without losing your choices. “Hide everything” and “Reset defaults” buttons are also available. By default, only end-screen cards and the after-video screen are hidden. The interface is available in English and Turkish. PRIVACY Quiet Tube stores only your display preferences and interface language in your browser’s local storage. It does not collect your watch history or send data to the developer. No ads, analytics or remotely loaded code. No additional account required. SCOPE Designed for www.youtube.com in desktop Chrome. Hiding recommendations does not disable autoplay; you can turn it off separately in the YouTube player. Graphics embedded in the video itself cannot be hidden. Hiding Shorts shelves does not block Shorts videos opened directly. Some sections may require an extension update when YouTube changes its interface. Quiet Tube is an independent extension. It is not developed, endorsed or supported by YouTube or Google.
