FPL Insight — Fantasy Premier League team rating, injuries & prices
4 ratings
)Overview
Grade your FPL squad, spot injured players, track price changes and fixtures (FDR) on Fantasy Premier League. Unofficial.
FPL Insight rates every fixture by position, grades your Fantasy Premier League squad, tracks prices and shows who you actually play this week — directly on the official FPL site. No dashboard, no account linking, no servers. Every widget renders in your browser. Everything here is a heuristic aid to help you think — not a guaranteed outcome and not advice. The extension never changes your team and never automates transfers. FIXTURE DIFFICULTY THAT KNOWS THE POSITION FPL's own difficulty rating gives a whole team one number, so a side with a strong attack and a leaky defence looks the same to everyone. FPL Insight builds its own rating from expected goals (xG) and reads it by position: - Goalkeepers and defenders see the opponent's attack — the clean-sheet threat. - Midfielders and forwards see the opponent's defence — the chance to score. - Or switch to a single Attack, Defence or Overall calendar for team-level planning. - A full 1–5 scale, checked against betting-market projections. - Hover any fixture to see all three sides and the xG / xGA behind them. The same rating drives expected points, captain compare and the squad grade. ON EVERY PLAYER (Pick Team and the Transfers list) - Fixture ticker — the next 3, 5 or 8 opponents, colour-coded by that difficulty. - Ownership signal — template vs differential, plus the exact selected-by percentage. - Price-change arrow — a ▲ / ▼ on players whose price is about to move, straight from FPL's own projection. Only the imminent ones, so it stays a signal, not noise. HOVER ANY FIXTURE FOR THE FULL PICTURE Point at any fixture in the ticker and a compact summary opens on the spot: - The match, home or away, and its attack, defence and overall difficulty. - Stats that fit the position. Goalkeepers get saves, expected goals conceded (xGC) and clean-sheet rate instead of meaningless xG. Defenders and midfielders get xGC and defensive contribution against their position's threshold — on top of form, xG90 and xA90, which still matter for defenders. - Selected-by percentage, price and availability — injured, doubtful or suspended, with the chance of returning and the latest team news. WATCHLIST — WATCH WHAT ACTUALLY MATTERS Star any player from the Transfers list. Your watchlist survives reloads and gameweek changes. For each player you get: - A sparkline you choose: points, xG + xA, defensive output (saves for keepers) or net transfers — the demand that drives the next price move. - Always the last 5 gameweeks of the current season, with minutes underneath, flagged when a player stops playing. - The season's price move, FPL's forecast of the next one, and the change since you starred the player. - Grouped into price drops and still watching, with upcoming fixtures and ownership. YOUR TEAM, SCORED - Team Grade — a heuristic A–D squad rating with a full breakdown across fixtures, form and expected goals, ownership, captaincy and bench balance, each weighted and explained. - Captain compare — the strongest captain options from your own XI, ranked by expected-points swing versus your current armband, each with a short reason (opponent, fixture difficulty, start probability) and a confidence level. - Head-to-head — finds your actual H2H opponent for the current gameweek. Shows both scores with transfer hits and the chip in play, plus which chips each of you still has left. Then it lines up the squads, lists who only you and only your rival own, and scores the differential swing in expected points. Before the deadline it compares against the rival's latest known squad, clearly marked as provisional. No H2H leagues? Pick a rival from a classic mini-league instead. - Share card — a Wrapped-style summary of your squad: grade, captain, template share, differential count and average fixture difficulty. Square or story format, rendered entirely on your device. BUILT TO STAY OUT OF YOUR WAY - One compact control cluster; one click on the toggle hides or shows every widget. - Right-click the toggle for settings: ticker length (3, 5 or 8 gameweeks) and the difficulty view (by position, Attack, Defence or Overall). - English and Russian, auto-detected. - React-safe and self-healing: widgets reappear cleanly as the FPL app re-renders, and everything is removed neatly when you turn it off. PRIVACY FPL Insight does not collect, transmit, sell or share any data. It runs only on fantasy.premierleague.com, keeps settings and the watchlist in your browser's own extension storage, and talks only to the same public FPL API the site itself uses. No servers, no analytics, no tracking. Unofficial — not affiliated with the Premier League or Fantasy Premier League.
