IBM Aspera Connect

Wow, what junk software (plugin and required desktop app), multiple folks at our company and none of us have succeeded in installing it and it working successfully.

worked great. You need the desktop app as well

Absolute joke. Every time we have to use Aspera it's a problem, EVERY time.

DON'T FORGET TO INSTALL THE DESKTOP APP

It sometimes allows me to monitor transfers without having to have the browser active, if you have the desktop app, but it doesn't behave predictably enough to rely on

For everyone that says the extension doesn't work: You also need the DESKTOP APPLICATION!

Spent the last 2 days trying to receive files from a partner who insists on using Aspera. It just doesn't work.

Doesn't work. I'm surprised IBM releases extensions that don't work.

On either Chrome or Safari, the extension doesn't want to appear or function or anything. I hate Aspera.
