blockmaxxing removes ads from Twitch — including the stream-level (server-side inserted) ads that ordinary blockers can't touch — entirely on your device. Twitch stitches ads directly into the video stream, so simply hiding an element or blocking a URL doesn't work. blockmaxxing runs inside the player, detects the ad-stitched segments in the stream playlist, and swaps in an ad-free stream.
