MrW Overlay for POE 2 Bridge

Connects your pathofexile.com session and account name to MrW Overlay on this computer, only when the app asks.

Companion extension for MrW Overlay for POE 2, a free, open-source Windows app for Path of Exile 2. Connect your existing pathofexile.com sign-in to the desktop app without entering your password in the app. How it works 1. In MrW Overlay, press "Connect browser" under Settings > Account. The app opens pathofexile.com with a one-time connection code. 2. The extension checks that you are signed in and reads your account name from the official site's top account bar. 3. It sends your session cookie and account name to the desktop app on your own computer (127.0.0.1). Neither is sent to our servers. 4. The app stores both encrypted using Windows DPAPI. The session enables signed-in trade features; the updated desktop app displays your account name with a copy button. Disconnecting in the app deletes both. After updating the extension, reconnect once to retrieve your account name. Privacy - Reads the signed-in account name from the top account bar; does not change page content. - Does not track browsing or collect analytics. - Transfers account data only when you start a connection from the desktop app. - Never asks for your password.
