Ibid — from Latin "ibidem," meaning "in the same place" — is a citation manager built for students, researchers, and academics who need accurate references without compromising their privacy. Ibid runs a full Citation Style Language (CSL) engine directly in your browser using WebAssembly. All citation processing happens locally on your device. No data is sent to external servers. Choose your citation style and copy the formatted reference Ibid supports one-click citing from academic publishers, news sites, and general webpages. CITATION STYLES 74 styles bundled offline, including APA, MLA, Chicago, Harvard, and IEEE. 2,600+ additional styles from the official CSL repository can be downloaded on demand. Once downloaded, they work offline. An embedded English locale ensures correct terms ("et al.," month names, ordinals). The WASM engine also handles BibTeX and RIS parsing for fast import and export.
