Covers YouTube thumbnails of videos YouTube labels as made with AI, so you can spot them before clicking.

SlopStopper puts a big "AI slop" overlay on the thumbnails of YouTube videos that YouTube itself has labeled as made with AI, so you can see them before you click. When a video is disclosed as made with AI, YouTube shows an "AI" badge under its title and a "How this was made: Made with AI" note in its description. But you only see that label after you open the video. SlopStopper checks the videos in the list you're browsing and marks the labeled ones right on the thumbnail. WHERE IT WORKS • Home • Subscriptions • Search results • Channel pages • The sidebar next to the video you're watching • Regular videos and Shorts HOW IT WORKS When a thumbnail scrolls into view, SlopStopper asks YouTube for that video's AI label, the same label YouTube shows on the video's page. Results are cached on your device, so each video is only checked once. PRIVACY • Lookups go only to youtube.com and are sent without your cookies. They aren't tied to your account and don't affect your watch history or recommendations. • No analytics, no tracking, no accounts.
