Overview

Shows tooltips with airport information based on selected ICAO or IATA codes.

Short description: Shows airport details when IATA or ICAO codes appear on a page, with hover tooltips, filters, and optional runway or country name data. Detailed description: IATA/ICAO Airport Lookup helps you identify airport codes directly on the page you are reading. When the extension detects a 3-letter IATA code or 4-letter ICAO code in normal web page text, it shows a compact tooltip with useful airport information so you do not need to leave the page to look it up. Features: - Detects both IATA and ICAO airport codes in page text - Shows airport name and municipality - Optionally shows country names - Optionally shows runway identifiers - Lets you enable or disable IATA and ICAO lookups separately - Lets you limit results by continent - Includes manual dataset updates from the published OurAirports dataset mirror - The extension is designed to stay lightweight and simple: Works on normal web pages - Uses a small popup for settings - Stores settings locally in the browser - Does not require an account - Does not include analytics or advertising - Airport reference data is based on the OurAirports project created by David Megginson.
