Iago - Learn Japanese through TV

I have been using this extention for almost a year. But recently the subtitles keep flickering and I am unable to get translations while hovering words.

It works on youtube but not on Netflix in my case which is sad coz I watch a lot of shows there

The best extension ever to learn Japanese while watching YouTube or some other platform, my congratulations to the developers, they did a great job!

Guys, u should add option to hide subs and most importantly function to create machine translation, and it will be greatest exntesion ever :)

I love this extension, but unfortunately the developers don't seem to be interesting in fixing the long list of bugs. They are too busy with their upcoming app or whatever. Some annoying bugs: - The extension enables itself when you start a new video even when previously disabled - When there are no Japanese subtitles, the extension keeps opening the subtitle panel and freezing the video for the first minute - If you leave a video and go to the main page and start a new video, there will be ... QUIZZES are slow bad, too easy to guess the answer. my times seen function always stays at one. at least it keeps track of words for free unlike langreactor

As a pop up dictionary it works and looks great. Features like the video auto-pausing on hover and resume on cursor exit, the words being separated visually, "times seen" for each word etc are great. And I'm sure many will appreciate being able to download an extension that doesn't have to be set up rather than configuring something like Yomichan and manually finding dictionaries, which can be a pain and is a barrier to entry. Awesome extension! It'll definitely improve your japanese immersion routine. There's only a few features that I would add in the near future: 1. Anki connection for Sentence Mining. 2. More compatiblity with other websites rather that only Youtube or Netflix, like Animelon or Crunchyroll. If those features are added in the near future, this extension will be the best out there for learning japanese.
