Hides your personal data before it reaches ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot and Teams. Needs the Nonimo app (Mac or Windows).

Nonimo redacts the personal details in what you paste or type into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot or Microsoft Teams before they leave your computer: names, ID numbers, phone numbers, addresses, accounts and file references become markers like [PERSON_1]. Documents and photos you attach (pasted, dropped or added with the paperclip) are covered too, and are redacted by the Nonimo app before they reach the AI. When the answer comes back, one click on Copy with the real details puts it on your clipboard with the names and numbers restored, ready for your letter or email. The AI never sees them. The redacting is done by the Nonimo app on your computer. The extension never connects to the internet: it passes what you paste, type or attach only to that app. Your content (text, documents, photos) never leaves your computer, and Nonimo never sees it. Once a day, the app sends Nonimo a usage count: only figures, dates, yes/no answers and choices from fixed lists, including which AI you use (just the name, never the web address), and never words, names, file names or anything that was redacted. With each daily send, our server receives the IP address it comes from and keeps it for 30 days for security.
