)Overview
Mark up text on a webpage, save notes locally, and copy a revision brief into your AI chat.
Stet helps you give precise revision feedback on text in a webpage. Highlight the exact words, choose Edit, Question, Remove, or Note, and add your instruction beside the page. When you're ready, Stet turns the marked passages into a Markdown brief you can copy into an AI chat that has the page or source in context. HOW IT WORKS 1. Click the Stet toolbar icon on a webpage. 2. Select a passage and choose a note type. 3. Add a comment in the side panel. Your draft saves locally for that page URL on this device. 4. Copy or download the revision brief, then share it with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or another assistant. The brief quotes each marked passage and keeps the notes in page order, so the assistant can locate the text and understand the requested change. If the page wording changes, Stet keeps a saved note in the panel and flags it when the quote can no longer be found. Stet works on long AI responses, articles, reports, and generated HTML pages that allow extensions to run. It does not send your notes to an AI service or edit the page for you. You decide where to paste the brief. Stet activates only when you click its icon. Drafts are stored locally in your browser and are not synced between devices.
