Tab Organizer helps you keep Chrome tabs clean and organized automatically. If you regularly end up with too many tabs, this extension reduces clutter and helps you stay focused. You create simple rules like URL contains github.com, docs.google.com, or youtube.com. Tab Organizer then places matching tabs into the right tab groups for you while you browse. What it does: - Automatically groups tabs based on user-defined URL rules. - Rules, Insights, and Settings views in the popup for a clearer workflow. - Insights: workspace stats, group activity (including inactive groups), ungrouped tabs with a count, one-click rule drafting from missed tabs, and refreshable diagnostics. - Apply now groups existing open tabs on demand; optional startup scan to group tabs already open when Chrome starts. - Set group name and color per rule; choose new group or existing group, with duplicate-name handling so you don’t accidentally create the same group twice. - Collapse all groups / Expand all groups in the current window from the popup. - Settings: automation (grouping on/off, startup behavior, case-sensitive matching, smart URL suggestions), display (dark mode, font size, compact mode, colorblind-friendly palette), Insights options (ungrouped list limit, group-delete confirmation mode), optional advanced performance controls with safeguards, import/export, and reset group history; plus links to Help Center, Privacy Policy, and Changelog. - English and Dutch for the popup; Help Center and Privacy Policy follow your language choice where available. - Optional smart URL suggestions when creating rules; optional case-sensitive matching. - Import and export rules and supported settings as JSON. - In-app Help Center, Privacy Policy, and Changelog (with readable markdown styling).
