I Remember: bug replay for QA
Overview
Can't remember the steps? I do. Save the last 30s of your test as video, repro steps, console errors and network logs.
Found a bug but can't remember exactly how you got there? I Remember keeps a rolling recording of the tab you're testing. When something breaks, click Save and get the last 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute or 2 minutes as a complete bug report. Built for QA engineers and testers: sanity, smoke and exploratory testing, anytime a bug is hard to reproduce. WHAT YOU GET IN ONE ZIP • Video of the tab (MP4, plays everywhere, including Jira) • Auto-generated repro steps: "Clicked button 'Checkout'", "Typed 'SAVE10' in field 'Coupon code'", "Selected 'Express' in dropdown 'Shipping'" • Console logs and JavaScript errors, with stack traces • Network requests with status and timing; failed calls (4xx/5xx) are flagged • Browser, OS and page details Every entry is time-stamped against the video. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open the site you're testing and click "Start remembering this tab" (or Alt+Shift+R). 2. Test as usual. Only the last 2 minutes are kept in memory. 3. Hit a bug? Choose how far back and click Save (or Alt+Shift+S). 4. Attach the zip to your ticket. While recording, the popup shows live counters for steps, errors and failed calls, so you notice problems as they happen. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Everything is recorded and saved on your computer. No account, no cloud, no tracking. • One switch hides passwords, card numbers and one-time codes in the steps, the video and the network log. • Login tokens and API keys are always redacted. • Only the tab you choose is recorded, and only while you say so. Free to use.
