Since this app makes certain sites not work, it would be essential to have an option to deactivate it on specific sites.

Dear Gen Digital Inc, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to report a recurring issue I've encountered while using the "I don't care about cookies" extension on Chrome, specifically when accessing Google Workspace (workspace.google.com). Description of the Issue: While the extension is active, I have noticed that certain pages within Google Workspace (https://workspace.google.com/business/signup/welcome) do not load correctly or exhibit unexpected behavior. This issue has persi... Show more

This addon is great but it got bought by a company that was fined for collecting and selling private data from their users. Use that information however you like but I'd recommend you to switch to the open source fork "I still don't care about cookies".

Very nice if it does what it says - I don't know if it automatically accepts cookies but it says it does. The reason I'm saying that is that on myanimelist.net it did not let me click anything on the site until I noticed that I had to disable this extension, then reload the page and accept the cookies manually. I could then reenable the extension

It is still quite useful but about 5% of sites, specially smaller ones, are frequently unusable with dark overlays and scroll blocking when we don't accept the cookies. This extension removes the pop up but it does not remove the overlay. I used to have another extension called Behind the Overlay for this purpose but I wonder if the functionality shouldn't be built in or if I am missing something on how to use it.

This is not correct: "When it's needed for the website to work properly, it will automatically accept the cookie policy for you". Example for https://www.jouwweb.nl/ This results in a greyed-out view of the webpage without any option to continue. It took a while until I found the cause: This plugin suppressed the pop up and also did not accept the cookie policy automatically. The only possibility solution is to remove this plugin.

Whitelist does not get respected. It still hides informations. Also falsely hides the "Disclaimer" on JellyFin login sites.
