HyperChat [Improved YouTube Chat]

an option to show only the owner/moderator messages would be cool. There are some lives of limited items promotions that they paste links, and with a lot of people it's hard to click fast

Love Hyperchat, is there any way to access the usual options (timeout/block etc.) as a moderator with Hyperchat on? At the moment right clicking users doesn't have those options!

Those features have been extremely difficult to reverse-engineer, but it's on our todo list!

I discovered an issue where I can't send messages in a chatroom when I enter a channel I've never spoken in before. After disabling extensions, I found that it was due to a "channel guidelines" pop-up message. However, with the extension enabled, this message window does not display correctly, preventing me from being able to send messages. Hope this issue can be fixed soon.

We're working on a fix, but it's quite a complex issue, so it might take a while. Apologies for the inconvenience in the meantime.

Only extension I have found that has similar features to BetterTTV for YouTube Live Chat. It could still be improved and other features, such as highlighting and filtering specific words/messages. Also it could still work seamless with the native overflow menu. But it's open source and a good base. Most of all, I'm glad it allows clicking usernames to view their profile, which I feel should be native to Youtube Live.

It does make YouTube chat significantly less laggy but breaks a few other features. 1. You cannot delete your own comments 2. You cannot report other comments if the report has options (e.g. Harassment asks if the comment is harassing you or someone else) 3. You cannot get past the channel rule confirmation interface to actually comment if a channel has those. Issues 1 and 2 can be solved by temporarily disabling the extension but 3 apparently breaks things even if you disable it.

Works great, but can't retract my own message with this extension for some reason. Also, this extension does not work with other live chat extension like emotes.

please fix, if i write on gift subscription for ex. 5month or something the pop up not out.. it can be refresh the chat or the page

Fixed the laggy chat 100%. Just for that, 5 stars.

This doesn't fix the ongoing memory leak issue in YouTube live chat. But this is a great extension if you want to customize your live chat.
