Hushtab quiets the web. It blocks trackers, tells websites not to follow you, and hardens your browser against leaks, all from one simple panel where every protection is an individual toggle. No accounts. No data collection. No servers. Everything runs locally in your browser, and the extension never sees or stores your browsing history. That means blocking happens inside the browser engine itself, fast, battery-friendly, and without the extension ever reading the content of the pages you visit. Flip any protection on or off and it applies instantly, no restart needed. Your settings sync across your browsers. Sensible defaults are on from the moment you install. The two protections that can occasionally affect site functionality (third-party cookies and canvas defense) are off by default, so nothing breaks unless you choose stricter settings.
