Overview
A second look at messages in Gmail, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Facebook and Messenger. It flags what to check before you trust. Free.
Hunch checks every message before you trust it. A recruiter reaching out, a payment reminder, a "your package is on hold" text, a collab offer, Hunch reads the messages you are already looking at and quietly flags the ones that look like a scam, with the reason in plain language. It works in place, inside your inbox and DMs. No pasting, no scan button, no separate app. If you are job hunting. Fake recruiters are the scam we see most. A message name-drops a famous company but the "apply here" link goes to a lookalike domain, or there is no link at all, and the trap lands in the follow-up. Hunch reads the message, not the badge, so it can catch a hiring scam, recruitment fraud, or a fake job offer even when it arrives from a real but hijacked account. It shows you the mismatched domain and tells you why it looks off. It is the same check across the other messages that try the same tricks: - Marketplace scams, a "still available" seller who wants a deposit and pushes you to move off-platform to a fake payment link. - Fake delivery / parcel scams, a "pay a small customs or delivery fee to release your package" text pointing at a lookalike courier site. - Bank & payment phishing, an "unusual activity, verify within 60 minutes" alert built to rush you onto a fake login page. - Crypto & investment scams, a "job" or offer promising daily returns in USDT that needs a small deposit to "activate." - Account-takeover / verification-code scams, "forward me the code you just got" and "confirm your identity or your page is removed" messages designed to steal your account. Your messages stay on your device. Scam detection runs entirely in your browser, so nothing from your messages is ever sent to us or anyone else, and nothing is stored or logged. Hunch does not read your web history, does not touch your passwords, and does not sell data. How it works. Turn it on and keep browsing. When a message looks risky, Hunch shows a calm banner right above it: what it found, how confident it is, and what to do next. Tap for a plain-language explanation. That is it. Honest about limits. Hunch catches a lot of scams, but not all of them. No warning does not mean a message is safe, so always verify unexpected requests independently. Hunch buys you a pause to think; it does not promise to catch everything. English and Hebrew are fully supported. Spanish and Portuguese are in progress. Works inside LinkedIn, Gmail, WhatsApp Web and Facebook / Messenger.
