You're recording a product demo, a tutorial or a walkthrough. You need to fill in a prompt, a form or a document, and you either type it live (slow, nervous, full of real mistakes) or paste it (a wall of text appears out of nowhere and the moment falls flat). Human Paste fixes that. Prepare your text in advance, then paste it with Cmd+V or Ctrl+V as usual. Instead of appearing all at once, it types out one keystroke at a time, at a steady human pace, with the occasional small typo that gets noticed, backspaced and corrected. On camera, it looks like you're typing it yourself, every take. BUILT FOR SCREEN RECORDINGS - Looks typed, not pasted: text appears key by key with a natural rhythm. It's quicker inside familiar words, with short pauses after commas, longer ones after sentences, and a breath before each new paragraph. - Natural mistakes, on your terms: choose None for a clean take, or Light, Normal or Heavy for typos that get fixed on screen. Light means up to about one typo every 50 words. - Pick the pace for your video: Slow, Normal or Fast, or fine-tune anywhere from about 60 to 1,200 words per minute. Slower reads better on camera; faster keeps long text from dragging. - Live preview: the popup types a sample sentence with your exact settings, so you can dial in the look before you hit record. - Stays out of your way: press any key to stop typing early. Need a normal paste? Use Cmd+Shift+V (Ctrl+Shift+V on Windows) and that one paste goes through instantly. - One-key on/off: toggle Human Paste with Option+Shift+H (Alt+Shift+H on Windows) between takes. An "OFF" badge shows on the icon when it's paused. You can change the shortcut in Chrome's extension shortcuts.
