Hull Nine
Overview
Recover a survey core from a tilted wreck by controlling pressure, flooding, power, and ballast.
Hull Nine is an offline systems-adventure game inside a six-compartment survey vessel resting 610 metres below the surface. The survey core is locked in a flooding laboratory. The player must move through the dive lock and central spine, restore the main power bus, equalize pressure before opening doors, pump flooded rooms, release the core, and launch it through the buoy tube. Every meaningful action advances the flooding simulation and consumes oxygen. The damaged survey lab continues to take on water while sealed from the ballast well. Unsafe pressure differences prevent a door from opening. Ballast can be shifted from the well if the vessel's tilt approaches its structural limit. The interface is a tilted cross-section of the complete vessel. Water levels, door links, pressure, oxygen, power, carried core, and hull angle all respond to the current simulation state. The game has a definite recovery ending rather than an endless survival loop.
