Hue: More Colors for Google Calendar

Hi! I am excited about this extension, but I cannot figure out why it's not working for me. I downloaded it, added my colors, but they are not showing up on my events. What am I doing wrong?

Love it in the PC format, but the colors don't work on the Calendar app on the pixel, so it is useless for me now. I spend half my time on the calendar app on the phone.

I love being able to set my own colors, but this extension is making my calendar load incredibly slow.

Works really well for me, very easy to use, thank you ! Will update if there is any bugs!

It is a nice concept, but even thought i select the option to save changes for "All events", it does not work and i have to manually change the color of every single event in my calendar even if it is a repeating one, and that is a lot of work i do not want to do... And also it does not sync to phone, so i just did all that for nothing.

Thanks for your feedback. I’m currently working on enabling color changes for event series, it will most likely be out by the end of the year. Unfortunately, since this is a Chrome extension, custom colors only appear in the browser, and we can’t extend them to Google’s closed-source calendar app.

Works great on desktop

I tried it on my events but after a few hours it stopped working. It does show the colors are added but whenver I would pick my custom colors, it just goes back to the prepicked color by google.

How would I get colors to stay on events that repeat weekly? :)

I do use Gcal some on my phone, but not the biggest deal that it does not show on mobile since I mainly use Gcal for detailed scheduling on my laptop. I do however, wish it did apply to all the events in the series. But I am so happy now to not have to 'share' colors with certain types of events as there is just not enough stock colors for all my event types and I don't want to make multiple calendars where you CAN add more colors.
