Overview

Inspect the active tab for HubSpot CMS signals: portal ID, inferred theme, module paths, and HubFS asset count.

HubSpot Theme Scanner is a developer tool for anyone working on HubSpot CMS websites—implementers, agencies, and engineers who need quick answers from the page already open in the browser. What it does: • Detects whether the page likely uses HubSpot CMS (COS module markup) versus HubSpot marketing scripts only • Infers the primary CMS/platform when possible (WordPress, Drupal, Webflow, etc.) from public page signals • Shows an inferred HubSpot portal ID when it appears in the DOM or asset URLs • On HubSpot CMS pages with HubSpot debug enabled (?hsDebug=true), surfaces theme name hints, module path lists, and a count of unique HubFS (/hubfs/) assets How to use: 1. Open the site you want to inspect in a normal browser tab. 2. Click the HubSpot Theme Scanner icon. 3. For theme and module details on HubSpot CMS, reload with ?hsDebug=true in the URL, or use “Get more details” to reload with debug enabled, then open the extension again. Privacy Scanning reads the rendered HTML of the tab you chose. Results stay on your device and are shown only in the extension popup. This extension does not send scan data to the developer’s servers. Disclaimer This extension is not affiliated with or endorsed by HubSpot. Theme and CMS detection use heuristics on public page content; treat results as indicative, not authoritative.
