HTTP Headers
12 ratings
)Overview
Displays the current tab’s HTTP request and response or a Live HTTP Headers tab showing a stream of requests and responses.
HTTP Headers was written when the original HTTP Headers (HTTP Headers Live) extension sold out to malware injection and adverts. I decided it was time to write my own clean, ad-free, safe version that I didn't have to worry about. Features: - Light or Dark Theme - Current tab's HTTP Headers - Live HTTP Headers tab (+ a bunch of filters) - Free and Open Source. Permissions Information: This extension requires the 'webRequest' feature to function and will show up when installing as 'read and change data on any website'. The permission allows reading of the request and response headers. The 'tabs' permission is required for the FilterByTabs function of the Live stream. Finally, the permission 'storage' is required to save the plugin's configuration information. Privacy Policy: Updated User Data Policy (Strobe) I do not collect or process any information with this extension. I will never collect or process information with this extension. No analytics, no tracking, no adverts, nothing. Google Chrome Policy: Purple Potassium Removed 'webRequestBlocking' permission. Not needed. Free and Open Source. at first I couldn't get it to show in the latest version of Chrome. What I did to resolve that was go to uninstall it from this page and that makes the icon show in the toolbar. I right clicked on that icon and said pin. Now it shows all the time. Works perfect for my needs which are simple.
