)Overview
Turn a self-made HTML slide deck into a PowerPoint-style presenter tool with current/next slide and speaker notes.
HTMLstage turns your own HTML slide deck (a single HTML file containing every slide, each 1920×1080) into a PowerPoint-style presenter tool for Chrome. Features - Presenter view: current slide, next slide, speaker notes, an elapsed timer, the clock, and progress - Speaker notes: add notes per slide and export an HTML file with the notes embedded (restored on reload) - Audience view: slides only, never your notes — open it in a separate window or tab to share - Single-monitor remote meetings: open the audience view as a tab and share that tab; it stays in sync even when the presenter tool is maximized (Zoom desktop/web, Google Meet, Teams web) - Keyboard control (←/→/Space) and adjustable note font size - UI in Japanese or English, following the browser language Privacy - No external communication and no data collection. No extra permissions requested. Scope - Decks where a single HTML file holds all slides, each built as a `.slide` element (1920×1080). v1.1.0 — Presenter Pointer & Pen annotations New: • Pointer — Point at any spot on the current slide and have it appear in the same place on the audience view. Choose from four styles: laser dot, ring, big arrow, and spotlight (dims everything but the highlighted area). Toggle it from the control bar or with the "P" key. • Pen — Draw freehand annotations directly on the current slide, mirrored to the audience in real time. Annotations are kept per slide, so they stay put when you move to the next slide and come back. Pick from 3 colors (red / black / white) and 3 thicknesses, with Undo (Ctrl+Z), Redo (Ctrl+Shift+Z), and a per-slide Clear. Toggle the Pen with the "D" key. As always, your speaker notes are never sent to or shown in the audience view — only slide position, pointer, and drawing data cross to the audience.
